Skopelos is part of the Sporades Islands consisting of Skopelos, Skiathos and Alonnisos.

The quaint narrow streets, the crystal clear water, ever so blue, and the view of the unending forests have made Skopelos an ideal location for vacationers. You can travel to Skopelos Island from Agios Konstantinos, Volos and Thessaloniki either by ship or flying dolphins. You may also fly into Skiathos airport, and take a ship or flying dolphin to Skopelos (the boat ride is usually about 20 minutes).

On Skopelos, you’ll find incredible nature hikes with scenic trails all across the island. There are over 350 churches and monasteries to explore, each with its own history and charm. The island offers a wide variety of beaches, each with its own character. Some are sandy, others are rocky or pebbled, and many are a mix. Getting around is easy. You can rent a car or scooter to explore both on and off the main roads, or rent a boat to discover the coastline and nearby islands at your own pace.

There is always a delightful surprise waiting where you least expect it:

goats crossing the road, pigs perched on mountaintops along the main route to the beaches, and an abundance of natural and endangered wildlife. If you’re lucky, you may even spot dolphins or seals along the way.
