Car and motorcycle/scooter rental:  There are many places to rent. Shop around. The more days you rent, the better the deal.

 

Buses : The bus station is near the port. About a 5 minute walk from our Villa.

 

It is situated by the harbor and a large parking lot close to the center of Skopelos town. From here you can journey out to the destination of your choice, while buses serve daily up to Glossa and down to Loutraki -the second port of the island.
Busses run regularly, according to the daily time table, which you will also find there. Ticket prices are pretty reasonable and vary due to the destination.

 

Taxis : The taxi station is located between the bus station and the port of Skopelos.

Please note: the price should be discussed prior with the driver to avoid any misunderstandings, and will vary obviously according to where your final destination is.

 

Parking : There is a large, free parking lot located next to the harbor just behind the bus station. Parking is not permitted everywhere so please be careful. On occasion, people who illegally park, are surprised to find a ticket as a souveneir by the local police and need to pay a fine. So, please be careful to park in designated areas.
